Coffee lovers in Seguin will have the opportunity to sample the Oregon java goodness that is buzzing in San Antonio. Dutch Bros Coffee is expected to begin construction later this year, on September 30, according to a Texas licensing and regulatory department.

The next Seguin location, estimated to be built at around $650,000, is expected to open in January 2023.

The 950-square-foot Java House will feature a walk-in section as well as a drive-thru for customers to grab a cup of coffee, a freezer, or one of their other drink options. Keep in mind that there is no seating inside the trendy cafe.

Dutch Bros, which already has three locations in San Antonio, is expected to open five more locations soon. There are also construction records for six other sites in Bexar County. There is a location that is also expected to start construction in Kyle this year.

The first Dutch Bros in San Antonio opened in October 2021 in far west San Antonio.

According to a report by MySA, the rapid expansion of Dutch Bros led the company to go public in September 2021, making its co-founder Travis Boersma a billionaire, with his initial stake amounting to $2.3 billion.

Dutch Bros Coffee started in 1992 in Grants Pass, Oregon. In 2021, Dutch Bros began expanding its stores to Southwest Texas and Oklahoma.
