
MUJI, the home of Japanese lifestyle essentials, welcomed its new store in the Philippines to Central Square on June 3.
Since opening its first store in the Philippines at Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in 2010, MUJI has once again hoped to delight the BGC community with its latest store environment via a 1,400 sqm space on Central Square located at the corner of 5th Avenue and 30th Street – a store that will be more than three times the size of its previous store in Bonifacio High Street.
The MUJI Central Square store will once again feature a selection of everyday products at better prices thanks to its price revision campaign. This expanded BGC store will also feature exciting new features, starting with MUJI Philippines’ first-ever MUJI Cafe – a place where customers can relax and enjoy their favorite coffee or tea. It will also have the largest exhibition of sportswear, children’s wear and loungewear MUJI Walker, as well as the MUJI water filling station where anyone visiting the store can get free water using its reusable bottle.
MUJI Coffee
MUJI Coffee offers a cozy environment where customers can enjoy their favorite coffee or tea with light snacks inspired by Japanese sweets.
For its new store opening, MUJI introduced the first-ever MUJI Cafe in the Philippines – a small space where customers can relax, work or spend time with friends and family. It also offers a clean and quiet environment, fitted with MUJI furniture, which customers can experience while taking a break inside the store. To further enhance its relationship with nature, all coffee and some tea beverages served in MUJI Coffee will use coffee beans and tea leaves certified by Rainforest Alliance, an international non-governmental organization that fights against deforestation and climate change. . And like all of its merchandise, MUJI will offer MUJI Coffee products in sustainable or recyclable packaging to help preserve the environment.
MUJI Water Filling Station

Customers are encouraged to bring their own reusable bottle or MUJI My Water Bottle to the store instead of buying water in single-use plastic bottles.
With Bonifacio Global City known as a “walking city”, MUJI understands that providing free drinking water to clients and guests is an essential service in providing such an active community. With the water filling station, MUJI aims to work with customers to reduce plastic waste and conserve our natural resources.
