Price comparison between groceries, gas from 2020 to 2021

How much more are you paying for essentials like bread, milk, eggs and gasoline in fall and winter 2021 compared to 2020?

Here is a comparison of some of the items that most of us consume. Unless otherwise noted, figures are in line with The People History, which tracks prices for a range of products.

And note that prices may vary as stores may have sales or BOGOs on some items and conversely some may be more expensive depending on where you shop or fill up your gas tank.
