Ray Foley has teased Elaine Crowley after she went red over her coffee mug making an appearance on Ireland AM.
The beloved presenter, like all of us, tasked with working Sunday morning, was doing her best to stay awake after staying up to soak up Katie Taylor’s historic boxing win over Amanda Serrano.
Elaine’s shock can be spotted when a producer tells her through an earpiece to remove her cup of coffee from the cameras.

Rather than let the incident slip under the table, Elaine admitted to her co-hosts that her TV blooper was caught on live television for the nation to see.
“I’m kidding here, I ‘hide your cup’. I did it very subtly like that [repeats action]. I had my picture taken,” she said.
Brian found the fun side and noted that Elaine getting caught is even funnier because it was a “wide shot” with all the presenters.
Defending her actions and clarifying her drink choice, Elaine said: “There’s coffee in it, I’m starting to fall asleep.”
Never one to miss an opportunity to get a little crazy, Ray poked fun at Elaine for struggling to get through the show without caffeine.
‘We have an hour to go babies. Anything that brings you to noon. There is a limit of six cafes,” he joked.
Elaine went on to joke that Brian if she needs coffees, then “he’s got six mimosas.” Poor Brian tried his best to steer the ship, but nothing could stop the stunned hosts.
Ray sniffed Elaine’s cup and thought there was a strong smell of another type of alcohol in it as he joked “it’s stiff this morning” and “someone’s starting early”.
As the presenters tried to get breakfast back on track, Elaine sarcastically added, “I feel pretty victimized by you two now.”
There’s no shame in needing a boost to get through the day, just make sure the whole country doesn’t see you’ve got it!
