TRI-CITIES, Wash. – Here’s your chance to get your daily caffeine fix while helping out a worthy cause that benefits Tri-Cities students.

Starting May 13, 100% of funds from every $2 drink sold at select Black Rock Coffee Bar locations will be donated to Richland, Pasco and Kennewick High Schools.

This is part of the company’s series called “Give Back Days”.

“We care deeply about implementing Give Back Days in the communities we serve across seven states – and we are pleased to provide support to these high schools in the Tri-Cities,” said CEO Josh Pike. “It’s the fabric of who we are. We’re rooted in what we call the three Cs: Community. Connection. Coffee. For us, it’s about giving back and making someone’s day a little bit better. .

Pike added that it’s also important to show its employees that the company is investing in these communities, as their workforce tends to “be young.”

“It’s something they can connect with when we give back to the high schools they often attend or graduated from,” Pike said.

According to a press release, Richland will launch the series “in each of its five stores; followed by two locations in Pasco on May 20and; and ending in Kennewick at six stores on May 27and.”
